The latest update to the game seems to crash the Playdate OS when you launch it. 1.42 is the last version that seems to work.

Sorry for the inconvenience! I'm working on this crash currently. Hopefully will be able to resolve it soon. It's slow going since I can't recreate the crash on my PD but should hopefully have a fix out soon.

The new Update seems to work perfectly!! Thank you for the quick resolution on that!!

Actually, if you're able and the most recent version is crashing for you could you DM me (@thewriterwins on Discord) and I'll send you a few test builds as I bug fix? I want to have a wider test pool to make sure I can catch edge cases for this bug.

Glad it worked! Happy heisting!

Hi there! May I ask, is there any "correct" ending? I have achieved a bunch of them but still have a subtle sensation that something is missing.

And btw, does the content of the container impact anything?

No! To me the true ending begins when you complete the heist by any means and take the box back to Levi. After that it's up to you what your canonical ending is! There are some truly unique endings that are harder to obtain!

And no, outside of one very obscure epilogue scene, the contents of the box is intentionally random!

Hey curious why the catalog version is twice the size asthe itch version?

Could you reduce the filesize through audio compression, changing the audio format or using mono instead of stereo? Having trouble fitting this ge on device at over 110mb.

Awesome game and a blast to play!

I'm going to be honest: I have no idea. I upload the exact same file to each location and I can't believe that ZIP compression compresses by almost 2:1. I'll do some research and at a bare minimum, try to trim some fat with the next update! Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

So the catalog in unzipped and itch is zipped?

I hope i didnt open up a can of worms and dont mean to create extra work but I have ~120mb free space on device left so had to ask!

Not a can of worms, if I can compress the size I'll do it! Just comparing to other games I was a little shocked how big my little text adventure was!

Still need to explore more paths and endings, but I really like this game a lot.  Would love to see more games like this on the Playdate.  Easily one of my favorites.

Hi - what is in the new download?  Thanks!

Hello! Just a cursory update! A few bugfixes and added an icon for users using List view! I'll update the changelog ASAP!
